A Clean Mean Whipped Cream!

I love my desserts, and I am so glad that I don't have to give them up to eat clean and toxin free! One of my favorite ways to enjoy berries is with whipped cream, but have you read the ingredients on whipped toppings? Yikes! So here is an easy and delicious recipe to make your own whipped cream.

{Just remember to read the ingredients of your heavy cream before you buy it. I couldn't find an organic whipped cream without toxins so I opted to by the non-organic heavy cream. Its only ingredient was 100% heavy cream. That was easy.}


8 oz heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup organic sugar or organic powdered sugar (powdered sugar will make it smoother)--> I didn't have any this day so I used regular sugar.
1 tsp organic vanilla extract


1. Pour cream and sugar into a mixing bowl.
2. Use an electric hand mixer on low and mix the cream and sugar until it thickens to whipped cream.
3. Add vanilla and mix thoroughly.
4. Devour and enjoy!!!

So easy and delicous! If you are wondering where to find organic ingredients, check your local grocery store. Most stores in the United States have at least some selection of organic foods. Just remember that organic doesn't necessarily mean clean. Always read the labels! If you have a health food store nearby, you will have better options. Some of my favorite stores in America are Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Mama Jean's.
