I went a year without eating ketchup because I could not find one without nasty ingredients. To my family's delight, I found this great recipe. It is easy and yummy!
6zo organic tomato paste (if using canned tomato paste, make sure the can is BPA free)
1/4 C water
1 TB vinegar
2 TB organic maple syrup
1/4 tsp organic onion powder
1/4 tsp organic garlic powder
1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
A few specks of cinnamon
A few specks of cloves
Mix well and store in the refrigerator up to 3 months (if you don't eat it all by then).
Feel free to quadruple the recipe!
